Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional for the role of Senior General Manager – Civil & Interior (C&I) to lead and oversee large-scale commercial interior and turnkey workplace projects.

The ideal candidate should possess 25+ years of extensive experience in commercial interior fit-outs, Design & Build projects, and corporate workplace execution, with strong expertise in project delivery, operational leadership, commercial management, stakeholder coordination, and multi-project execution.

The role requires a strategic leader capable of driving end-to-end project execution while ensuring adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, cost control, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

Lead end-to-end execution and delivery of large-scale Civil & Interior commercial projects across multiple locations.

Drive project planning, execution strategies, operational efficiency, and delivery governance.

Ensure projects are executed as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Monitor overall project performance including cost, quality, productivity, risk, and timelines.

Oversee fast-track project execution while maintaining superior finishing and quality standards.

Resolve critical project execution challenges and ensure smooth project closures and handovers.

Strategic Planning & Operational Management

Develop execution frameworks, SOPs, project governance systems, and operational best practices.

Lead project scheduling, manpower planning, procurement coordination, and resource optimization.

Ensure alignment between Design, Procurement, MEP, Contracts, QS, and Site Execution teams.

Review project progress, execution risks, commercial impact, and mitigation strategies regularly.

Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, profitability, and execution efficiency.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary leadership interface for clients, consultants, architects, PMCs, and key stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.

Conduct project review meetings, leadership presentations, and strategic coordination discussions.

Manage escalations, contractual discussions, and high-level stakeholder communications effectively.

Commercial & Financial Control

Monitor project budgets, profitability, billing cycles, cash flow, and commercial performance.

Oversee BOQ reviews, quantity verification, billing approvals, variation management, and commercial closures.

Ensure efficient material planning, procurement coordination, and vendor management.

Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising execution quality and delivery commitments.

Team Leadership & People Management

Lead and mentor Project Managers, APMs, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and cross-functional project teams.

Build high-performing execution teams with strong ownership and accountability.

Drive team development, succession planning, performance management, and operational discipline.

Foster a collaborative and execution-focused culture across project teams.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure implementation of robust quality control systems and execution standards across all projects.

Monitor snag rectification, testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols, statutory compliance, and company SOPs.

Promote safe working practices and operational discipline across project sites.

Experience Criteria

25+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Interior Fit-outs, Design & Build, and Workplace Projects.

Proven experience in handling large-scale corporate interior and turnkey commercial projects.

Strong exposure to operational leadership, project execution, commercial management, and stakeholder coordination.
