1. ROLE SUMMARY

WHAT YOU WILL DO

OWN THE CREATIVE VISION — LUXURY STANDARD, ALWAYS

◆ Define the design philosophy, creative language, and aesthetic identity of SKV’s Luxury Interiors vertical.

◆ Lead concept development for ultra-luxury hotels (5-star, 7-star, boutique), private villas, branded residences, and high-end private homes.

◆ Drive the design narrative from initial brief through schematic design, design development, FF&E specification, and delivery — ensuring zero dilution of intent at every stage.

◆ Establish material and finish palettes that reflect genuine luxury: natural stones, bespoke joinery, artisan textiles, curated art curation, and custom furniture commissioning.

◆ Champion a design review culture where every element earns its place — nothing decorative without purpose, nothing standard where bespoke is possible.

LUXURY HOTELS & HOSPITALITY INTERIORS

◆ Lead interior design for 5-star and ultra-luxury hotels — lobby journeys, guest suites, presidential suites, F&B venues, spa sanctuaries, and arrival experiences.

◆ Navigate international brand standards for Aman, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Six Senses, Oberoi, Taj, and similar ultra-premium operators while injecting authentic local narrative.

◆ Craft spatial experiences that transform a check-in into a memory — where arrival, transition, and intimate moments are all choreographed through interior design.

◆ Manage the complex interface between design ambition, operator brand guidelines, and operational reality without compromise to the guest experience.

PRIVATE VILLAS & ULTRA-HIGH-NET-WORTH RESIDENCES

◆ Design exceptional private villas for ultra-HNI clients — holiday retreats, estate homes, and multi-generational family residences across India and international locations.

◆ Handle the rare and demanding brief: the client who has seen everything, owns everything, and expects something they have never seen before.

◆ Source and specify one-of-a-kind pieces: commissioned artworks, bespoke furniture from European ateliers, heritage antiques, rare stone, and handcrafted textiles.

◆ Deliver the full luxury residential experience — from master planning of villa layouts to the selection of door knobs, fragrance, and linen thread count.

BRANDED RESIDENCES & SERVICED APARTMENTS (LUXURY TIER)

◆ Design branded residences in association with hotel operators — ensuring the private home carries the same warmth and refinement as its hotel counterpart.

◆ Develop unit type design standards, material specifications, and show-unit strategies that command premium pricing and strengthen developer brand equity.

WIN THE BUSINESS

◆ Partner with the Business Development team to build a high-value project pipeline in luxury hotels, villas, and private residences.

◆ Lead credential presentations and pitch responses with the confidence and portfolio gravitas that ultra-luxury clients expect.

◆ Build lasting relationships with luxury hotel operators, hospitality developers, private family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

◆ Represent SKV at luxury design forums, hospitality industry events, and invite-only design platforms.

BUILD & LEAD THE STUDIO

◆ Recruit, develop, and mentor a world-class studio: interior architects, senior designers, FF&E coordinators, and 3D visualization specialists.

◆ Develop design SOPs, material library standards, and institutional knowledge that outlasts any individual project.

◆ Foster a studio culture of craft obsession, curiosity, and relentless quality — where ‘good enough’ is never enough.
